Alolu gives your business a phone number and an inbox for the calls, texts and email that come to it. Running that means handling your communications, so this page says plainly what we collect, why, who touches it, and how to make us delete it. Alolu is operated by Orbioom LLC, Sherman Oaks, California.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and, if you use them, the name Google or Apple share when you sign in with them. We never see your password for those services.
- Your workspace: the business name you choose, your business hours, your auto-reply text, and the phone number you want calls forwarded to.
- Your communications: the phone numbers and email addresses that contact you, the text of texts and emails, call times and durations, and voicemail recordings. This is the product — it is what the inbox shows you.
- Billing: your subscription status. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by us.
- Technical: ordinary server logs (IP address, browser, times) kept briefly to keep the service running and to stop abuse.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data, and we do not show advertising.
- We do not read your messages except to operate the service or when you ask us to help with a problem.
- We do not use your communications to train AI models.
Who processes it for us
Alolu is built on a small number of infrastructure providers. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Telnyx — carries your calls, texts, voicemail recordings and custom-domain email. It is the telephone network behind your number.
- Stripe — takes payment and manages your subscription.
- Google Firebase — stores your workspace and inbox, and brokers Google and Apple sign-in.
- Cloudflare — hosts the application.
US phone carriers require every business that sends texts to register with The Campaign Registry. Where that applies, your business name and details are shared with it as part of that registration.
How long we keep it
Your inbox is kept for as long as your workspace exists, because it is your record of your customers. When you delete your workspace, your communications, settings and account are deleted within 30 days. Billing records are kept for as long as the law requires. Server logs are kept for no more than 30 days.
Your rights
You can export or delete everything we hold by emailing orbioomtech@gmail.com from your account address. We answer within 7 days. If you are in California, the EU or the UK, you have the rights those laws give you — access, correction, deletion, portability and the right to complain to your regulator — and the same email is how to exercise them.
Children
Alolu is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
